ON NOVEMBER 9, THE PREMIERE OF THE FILM «GENDELYK» DIRECTED BY TARAS DUDAR TOOK PLACE
On November 9, the Ukrainian premiere of the film «Gendelyk» directed by Taras Dudar took place.
The Ukrainian premiere of the lyric comedy directed by Taras Dudar «Gendelyk» took place on November 9 in Kyiv at the Cinema House with the participation of a star cast.
In the plot of the movie: the main character, screenwriter Ivan Gerasimov, due to a creative crisis fails to deliver his movie script on time. The fee is spent, and the client, a very influential person, threatens to kill him. The screenwriter flees the city and finds himself in a mysterious cafe called «Gendelyk». There he meets his old friends and two strangers who weigh up all his good and bad deeds as if they are arguing for his soul. Who are they? What is this place? And will he be able to get out of it?
The film has been screened at numerous international festivals and won numerous awards.
The film was directed by Taras Dudar, scripted by Oleksandr Stolyarov and Dmytro Hryhorenko, produced by Oleksiy Nazaruk, composed by Ivan Zavhorodniy, and directed by Oleksandr Teterin, produced by Dmytro Ovechkin and Yuriy Budyak.
The actors are Vladyslav Mamchur, Lyudmyla Zahorska, Vladyslav Nikitiuk, Oleksandr Rudko, Serhiy Syplyvyi, Stanislav Moskvin, Serhiy Petko, Mykhailo Kukuyuk, Taras Tsymbalyuk, Ihor Portyanko, Oleksandr Yarema, Artemiy Yegorov and others.
The film Gendelyk will be released in Ukrainian cinemas on November 16.
