«Mavka. Forest song» - was based on Lesya Ukrainka’s «The Forest Song» and adapted to the family animation genre.
The cartoon was also based on images from Slavic myths and legends.
The animated film was created with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency and The United State Agency of International Development (USAID).
