THE «MAVKA» ANIMATED FILM IS ALREADY IN THE SPANISH CITY OF LAS PALMAS DE GRAN CANARIA.
The forum CARTOON Business 2023 has started in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain, where Iryna Kostyuk, producer of the «Mavka» animated film, and Tetyana Ruban, CEO of the licensing agency Nerd agency (FILM.UA Group), shared the secret of the cartoon's global success and presented a multilingual trailer with characters speaking the languages of the countries where the animated film was released.
«CARTOON Business» is an annual prestigious event for the leaders of the European animation market.

«Mavka. The Forest Song» is based on Lesya Ukrainka's «The Forest Song» and adapted to the family animation genre.
The cartoon is also based on images from Slavic myths and legends.
The animated film was created with the support of the Ukrainian State Film Agency and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
